Premier League Gaffes

Over the last couple of days we have whet your appetite for the return of Premier League football by giving you the chance of voting for the best saves in the competition’s history since its inception in 1992.

We have looked at the crème de la crème so far, but whilst we reflect on the best the last three decades has had to offer, we must also remember the glorious failures that, unfortunately for the goalkeepers involved, are arguably engrained into Premier League folklore more than our selection of the greatest saves just days ago.

Watch our choice of goalkeeping gaffes in the English top-flight since August 1992 and choose the very worst of the bunch which we will reveal on Tuesday.

Shay Given, Coventry City v NEWCASTLE UNITED 1997/1998

Massimo Taibi, MANCHESTER UNITED v Southampton 1999/2000

Peter Enckleman, Birmingham City v ASTON VILLA 2002/03

Jerzey Dudek, LIVERPOOL v Manchester United 2002/03

Ian Walker, LEICESTER CITY v Bolton Wanderers 2003/04

Heurelho Gomes , Fulham v TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR 2008/09
